Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. Self-coaching is a self-directed activity which enables you to move forward and embrace your next challenge. Connecting with your true self is the most precious time you can give to yourself. To discover the way of living a life with understanding and self-acceptance is the first step in personal growth. We are probably asking yourself when is the right moment to start our journey towards change and how to check if we are on the right path of our better version. We can have a significant impact on our world, and we can live life with higher purpose and achieve the success we deserve. I want to invite you to simple exercise, the only you need is a two or three pages and 20 minutes to be entirely focused on what I am offering to you.
First I want you to do a life audit of your last three months – exact time scoop is essential here. Focus on areas of your life which are matters in your life, and they are connected to your real values. Very important here is to follow your values which are deeply rooted in your life construction. Please don’t support other people values even when there are seems to be more attractive and highly expected by society. We all have a special calling, we all have our desires, and we all feel what is the most meaningful in our life. Mine is as follows: health; a family/relationship; a spiritual growth, a friendship; and a career/money. Now, I ask you to draw a four-column table. In the first column you will write those values, doesn’t matter the sequence of importance because your evaluation will be your next step. The other three columns are named as a now, a future, and a difference. As simple as that. Next score them! I have already mentioned, please estimate them those in three columns, and choose only three from them with the highest score. The highest numbers from column ‘a difference’ is your priority. Focus only on those three, don’t come back to your estimation, better forget the rest of them. You are not able to solve everything in one time, focus only on the highest number. Take small steps with the most top priority. Now, visual it and face it! When you write them down, you can visualize them, you can see them.
Second I want you to do a life edit in those three specific areas. Focus on what you need to edit in your life. Remember to take small steps with planning your every move towards improvement. Stop wandering, focus only on those are to improve. At the end of that stage, please write down a sentence ‘In 3 months from now I am proud of…done/achieved/closed’. Use the present tense; it will help your brain take it as a fact.
The third step is to do a life debit. What do you need to reduce, to sub truck; doing less or perhaps to stop doing. What brings you closer to your ultimate goal. Removing distractions, you are eliminating weeds from your beautiful garden. Remember throwing away something old is to create a space to new coming into my life. So again you don’t have to change your life upside down, only focus on three areas you have chosen.
The fourth step to take is your life credit. What do you need to add to your life and here it must be related to your life debit.
Master yourself, master you relationships
Last but not least. Do your a life acredit. Start to write your gratitude journal, be specific. Increasing gratitude is to receiving more. Reframing our mindset back to appreciation is the best we can give to yourself. Three of the most practices in our life are kindness, gratitude, and generosity. Mind with gratitude is a great place to live. There are not only practices but also unneeded people – don’t let somebody stay in your mind and heart for free and taking space of people who are not nice.
How many of you want to be a more powerful version? Those mind-blowing concepts of your life you can dedicate fully. This 20-minute exercise will give you the idea of new habits, and it will provide you with the mindset to navigate your own life. It will guide you every single day and will give you the 360’ view of understanding your experience. If you want to be passionate about your life, you have to shift your focus on aspects with the highest priority. This short task will help you to create critical access to feel better, giving you a concept of life and also it will help you to let it go.
So many years of education and nobody ever told us how to live our happy life to have more clarity. The only thing I want is to make education more accessible. Master yourself, master your relationship.
